Why place your Press Releases / Company News on the Power Index?
Having relevant sites linked to your web site can help with improving your position on some of the search engines. We allow simple html code to be incorporated into your news items so that you can put links to your web site, by adding links to web pages other than your main page can help search robots to identify content that they may not otherwise find.
All you need to do to use this service is ensure that your company has an entry in our directory, then once this has been approved by our Admin team, go to the News by Category section of the site. Click on the Register button and complete the online form, we will then send you email confirmation of your registration and your login details. We recommend that the signature field is completed during registeration, when submitting news items, it will add this information to the bottom of the text. You may use simple html code in your signature and in the main body of the news item, so it is possible to include a web site address, for instance you could use the following html to add your a link to your web site in your signature field

You have control over your news items, these can be amended at any time by going to your news item and clicking the Edit icon. Simply login and make the necessary changes.
It is simple to add your press release, select the relevant product category heading, a list of latest news items for that particular product will be shown, click on the 'Post News Item' button and complete the form. Useful note: simple html code can be included in the news text, so you could include a picture which is located on your web site, make some text coloured to stand out or add a hyperlink.
There is also an email icon so that viewers are able to send you an email replying to your subject matter, this option can be turned on or off as you wish. Simply click on the My Profile button and login, change the email Visible option to 'Yes' or 'No'.
A Company may have more than one account, say for different departments, sales teams, etc. Should more than one account be required a unique Company Name will be required, so you could use your Company name followed by the department or division name.
Power Index does monitor news items and reserves the right to reject any content which it feels is not suitable for publishing on this site. After a reasonable amount of time passing we reserve the right to remove old news items to make way for newer material.
