The Dartpoint DST range of tripping battery units provide a DC supply in electrical substations and switch rooms for the tripping and closing of circuit breakers. The units are highly reliable and utilise maintenance-free nickel cadmium batteries which give high discharge currents and long life. An automatically controlled charger keeps the battery fully charged. The tripping units in this range are supplied ready to fit. They just need fixing to the wall and mains and output connections made. The battery is pre-installed in our factory.
